"The Milk of Sorrow" will compete for the Oscar this March 7 

Claudia Llosa's film was among the five nominees for Best Foreign Film. Today announced the list of 82 nominees for the Academy Awards.

The Peruvian film "The Milk of Sorrow " will compete here on 7 March by the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. The news has generated all the joy of Peru because it is the first time that a Peruvian film is competing for the top prize of cinema.

The way that the Peruvian film meets the dream of winning the Oscar is not easy, since it has as competitors to four tapes weight: Argentina "The Secret of the eyes," France "A Prophet" Germany "The White Ribbon" and Israel, "Ajami".
